Formula One 2025 Full Driver Line Up
The 2025 Formula 1 season promises an array of exciting changes to the grid, as several teams opt for new talent and new partnerships. Throughout the evolution of the sport, teams have made strategic decisions to add to their line-ups to gain an edge in the championship battle.
The upcoming season will showcase a blend of experienced players and emerging talent, providing an exciting sporting environment. Many teams have reshuffled their rosters to achieve long-term goals and dominate the sport.
It is expected that the 2025 driver line-up will bring about an exciting and unpredictable season.
McLaren Mercedes
Lando Norris – The nearest competitor last season to Max Verstappen will get another chance to fight for the drivers’ championship in 2025.
But will this new momentum from McLaren be enough to catapult Norris to his first Championship, or will it be an inter-team battle with his Australian team-mate?
Oscar Piastri – The highly anticipated driver from Melbourne now enters his third season in Formula 1 and shows the potential of a future championship contender in the making.

Going into his fourth season with the team, Russell has cemented his performance as a title contender given his speed and consistency. So will we see a Mercedes resurgence with George Russell leading the charge?
Andrea Kimi Antonelli – One of the new drivers making his debut in Formula 1, Antonelli is a rising star in motorsport. At only 18 years old, the young Italian showcases raw talent, determination and hunger for success.
All of these are things Mercedes is willing to risk and invest in to pursue back to the front of the grid.
Aston Martin
Fernando Alonso – Two-time world champion Fernando Alonso remains one of Formula 1’s most tenacious drivers. With unmatched racecraft, relentless driving and strategic brilliance, the Spaniard continues to be part of Aston Martin’s surge to rise to the top of the grid, not just for podium finishes, but race wins.
Lance Stroll—As a consistent performer and longtime member of Aston Martin, Stroll brings race experience and technical knowledge. Stroll is intended to assist Aston Martin in continuous progress while striving for regular points and finishes throughout the year 2025.
Alpine
Pierre Gasly – The 2020 Italian Grand Prix winner will seek to push the Enstone team forward after an impressive number of points at the end of the last season.
As a speedy, strategic player who excels in challenging conditions, Gasly is known for his strong performances.
Jack Doohan—The Australian driver became the second of four to be promoted to Formula 1. Waiting in the wings, Doohan now gets the opportunity to prove his abilities in the biggest division in motorsport.

Haas
Esteban Ocon – The Frenchman, former Alpine driver, signs with Haas and brings a new demeanour of racing aggression and sheer will to fight amongst the pack. For 2025, Ocon will utilise his race craft to fight for more points and become a competitive midfield team.
Oliver Bearman – Another Formula 2 rising to the challenge of Formula, the British driver made an impression at the 2024 Saudi Arabian filling in for Carlos Sainz. Finishing 7th, Bearman became known as another young prodigy rising from the junior categories.
RB
Yuki Tsuonda – Starting his fifth season in the Red Bull sister team, Tsunoda's aggressive driving style and fearless overtakes made him a more consistent competitor over the years.
As well as, his speed Yuki has/will continue to be a value driver to the RB and Red Bull as the Japanese look to charge with the team to become a regular point-scoring team.
Isaac Hadger – Another new driver ascending through the junior categories, Isaac finished second in Formula 2 and was seen as another driver within the Red Bull academy patiently waiting in the wings.
Now for 2025, the Frenchman gets the opportunity to showcase his speed and potential.
Williams
Alex Albon – Since 2022, the number 27 driver has become the cornerstone of Williams’ development back to the front of the grid. From Red Bull to Williams, Albon’s craft has demonstrated to be a calm and smooth driver, coupled with the skills equipped to maximise Williams’ full potential.
Carlos Sainz – From Ferrari to Williams, Carlos has been depicted as a key asset by Team Principal, James Vowles as a key part of Williams’ resurgence. As a race winner and ferocious driver, Carlos brings an added blend of consistency and sheer grit to his race craft which is something Williams wants to exploit in the quest for future glory.
Kick Sauber
Nico Hülkenberg – From Haas to Kick Sauber, Hülkenberg’s venture takes him to the back of the grid in the hopes of elevating the team being rebranded in 2026. Which will be known as Audi. The German brings a wealth of knowledge from his time in Formula 1 as well as remaining consistent with vast technical knowledge.
Gabriel Bortoleto – The final driver promoted from Formula 2 to Formula 1. The Brazilian driver defied the odds and became the 2024 Formula 2 World Champion, earning him a spot at Kick Sauber. Another rookie enters the venture of Formula 1 who will become hungry and eager to prove himself worthy of staying in the most difficult division within motorsport.
