Manchester United ‘Very Close’ to Agreeing Matheus Cunha Deal
Manchester United are ‘very close’ to agreeing their first deal of the summer transfer window, says transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The well established journalist has provided a number of key updates surrounding the deal.
United are starting to make their first move in the transfer market ahead of the summer transfer window. INEOS are looking to rebuild the trust of the United faithful by agreeing a deal to sign the talented forward ahead of their rivals.
Cunha has been outlined as ‘one to watch’ this summer as the Brazilian is set to leave Wolves. The forward has a £62.5million release clause which United are open to paying with expected sales to take place.
Fabrizio Romano ‘Here We Go’ Coming Soon…
The famous three words from the Italian journalist are said to be coming soon, Romano has stated in one of many updates shared on Thursday.
“Manchester United will have a new round of talks VERY SOON to try to get the deal done with Matheus Cunha! A “here we go” is really, really possible soon.”
Romano was very active across social media on Thursday primarily discussing this exciting deal between United and Cunha. This is one of the first times that United have reached ‘advanced stages’ of negotiations in a transfer before the upcoming window has opened.
United fans hold their club accountable on many occasions for their regular late work in the market. However, Romano also shared the following…
“Negotiations for Matheus Cunha to Manchester United are now at ADVANCED stages! United are confident to get the deal done soon - formal steps will follow”
Cunha to United ‘Inevitable’
In my opinion, it seems like this deal is a matter of when, not if. Reports in Brazil also state that a deal is practically in place between the club and player ahead of the proposed move this summer.
Due to the player having a release clause, United could bypass any negotiations with Wolves and look towards completing the deal with the locked fee.
