Cardiff City vs Swansea City: South Wales Derby 24/25 Preview
Cardiff and Swansea are set to clash in the second South Wales Derby of the season this weekend. The Bluebirds and the Swans shared the points in the previous encounter in the current campaign.
An opening goal from Liam Cullen was cancelled out by Callum Robinson to rescue the Bluebirds a point. Cardiff come into the game sat just outside the relegation zone, with Swansea right in the middle of the EFL Championship table.
Omer Riza’s side advanced to the next round of the FA Cup with a win over Sheffield United. They face Stoke City in the next round whilst the Swans were eliminated from the competition, losing 3-0 away at Southampton.

As stated, the last meeting at the Swansea.com Stadium saw the points shared. Last season's derbies saw both sides record a 2-0 win, both teams winning their home fixture.

Swansea City
Liam Cullen also has 8 goals to his name in the Championship this season. The Welsh international is the Swans’ top goalscorer and scored their goal in the 1-1 draw in the previous meeting back in August.
Matt Grimes continues to impress in Swansea’s midfield. The Swans captain has retained a 91% pass accuracy in all 26 games of the season so far, in which he has started every single one.
