Formula 1 2025 Full Race Calendar

The 2025 Formula 1 season will deliver a breathtaking season we have yet to see, featuring 24 races that include six Sprint Race weekends.

This year, the pinnacle of motorsport will not begin in the Sakhir desert for the Bahrain Grand Prix but around the Australian city of Melbourne.

With the new season, new drivers, and teams investing in their driver lineups, the pot begins to stir. Drivers are hungry to showcase their prowess, and some are in it for another world championship.

What to Expect In Pre Season

Before the season begins around the streets of Melbourne, Formula 1 is to announce the 75th anniversary of the championship at the O2 Arena.

The anniversary will feature all 20 drivers and the 10 teams, showcasing their liveries for the 2025 season. Special guest presenters will be set to feature in the event.

  • February 18th F1’s 75th Anniversary Live season launch event, The O2 (20:00 GMT)

A week later, all 10 teams and 20 drivers will be able to dive into the cars as they prepare for Pre-Season Testing.

Pre-season Testing

Pre-season testing will be the first inclination for teams and drivers to test their machinery developed over the Winter.

The testing period will run over three days, with two sessions per day. One for the morning session and the second for the afternoon stint.

Both stints run for four hours with an hour break in between. Meaning if a driver wishes to continue into the afternoon, they are allowed the hour to recuperate or allow his team-mate to drive for the closing session.

However, for testing, both drivers cannot be on track. So, for the teams and drivers alike, every second counts.

  • February 26th-28th: Pre-season Testing, Bahrain
