John Cena Farewell Tour 2025 Predictions

John Cena is set to begin his farewell tour on Monday's WWE Raw Netflix debut. The global superstar shocked fans when he announced that 2025 would be his final year in a WWE ring.

However, nobody expected the 16 time World Champion to have a full time run this year. Cena will begin his final year of competition tomorrow night as part of a blockbuster show on Netflix.

Cena On Netflix

All we know about Cena’s appearance on Netflix tomorrow night is that he is a part of the shows proceedings. Will Cena have a match or who will set up his first feud of the year?

We predict that Logan Paul will be the superstar to possibly interrupt a promo from Cena on the show. Paul makes his return to WWE TV tomorrow night.

Paul and Cena would be a great match to have on this month's edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event. The TV special returns to our screens before the Royal Rumble.

Will John Cena Win the 2025 Royal Rumble?

The greatest of all time is currently the favourite to win the 2025 Royal Rumble according to bookmakers. Triple H has spoken out recently and has confirmed that the WrestleMania 41 main event is ‘penciled in’.

Cena vs Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship is also a strong rumour currently doing the rounds. So, will Cena be the man to defeat 29 others at the Royal Rumble?

Our short answer is, yes. It would make a lot of sense to give Cena his final Rumble victory during his final year of in ring competition, then setting up his match against Rhodes in Las Vegas.

The Record Breaking 17 Time World Champion

Cena vs Rhodes at Mania means you put the two biggest babyfaces in the company against one another. There is no doubt a wide variety of fans want Cena to win world title number 17.

John Cena deserves to break such a prestigious record. The great carried the company through a number of tough years in the 2000’s.

Cena also has the chance to elevate talent and set up a number of high profile matches as champion. It also presents a chance for Rhodes to develop his character, possibly advancing into a heel role.

It seems almost written in the stars that Cena will win world title number 17. If the match with Rhodes is the way WWE heads, then he will be victorious at Wrestlemania.

SummerSlam 2025 - John Cena vs CM Punk

The perfect SummerSlam spectacle would see Cena reignite his rivalry with CM Punk. A rivalry that deserves one more spotlight moment.

If Cena was to be champion at the time of this match then it presents a statement main event at the second biggest show of the year.

The Rock could also be a potential opponent for Cena come SummerSlam, however a potential match with Cena would have to be built around The Rock's ever busy filming schedule.

Final Farewell

John Cena’s in ring WWE career will come to an end at the conclusion of the calendar year. For the final months of his run, Cena could elevate a number of up and coming superstars.

The likes of Carmelo Hayes, Grayson Waller, Oba Femi, Bron Breakker and more come to mind as potential opponents.

Cena could host a number of weekly open challenges giving the superstars of tomorrow their chance to shine against the best there ever was.

It will be an emotional rollercoaster for those that grew up watching John Cena but fans should be incredibly grateful to be able to watch him in action across the globe one last time.
